In order to restore driver licenses for immigrant families and low-income people in Wisconsin, the state legislature’s Joint Finance Committee must pass a 2019 state budget that includes driver licenses for all.
The Joint Finance Committee is holding public hearings across the state in April, and the Milwaukee-area meeting is this Wednesday, April 10th, from 10am to 5pm at the Oak Creek Community Center (8580 S Howell Ave in Oak Creek).
Can you join Voces to testify and show support for including Driver Licenses for All in the state budget? Fill out the form below to RSVP. Click here to share the event on Facebook.
We are asking members and supporters to meet us at the Oak Creek Community Center at 7am to make sure we are able to speak. That said, you can come throughout the day. As long as you get there before 5pm, you will be allowed to speak.
Restoring driver licenses for all will strengthen our economy, improve public safety, and keep families together. Join us!
