A Policy Requiring A Judicial Warrant Issued by a Judge Before the Police Department Participates in Immigration-Related Enforecement Actions.
This standard strengthens accountability and protects due process by ensuring probable cause and clear judicial oversight. Given the frequency of ICE’s false allegations against immigrants they are targeting and the undermining of due process, this standard is essential.
