Citzenship Classes


Voces de la Frontera began our Citizenship program in 2008. The program has three groups: beginner, intermediate, and a senior class. The goal of this program is to promote understanding of civic and educational rights, and to improve your community to build a resilient culture. Voces citizenship program has been very successful- in 2011, 50 lawful permanent residents became US citizens.

Citizenship Classes are held at the Voces office on the following days:

Wednesdays 6 pm - 8 pm
Saturdays 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm


Additionally, English Classes will be held at the Voces office on the following days:

Thursdays 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Saturdays 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Myth: Weak border enforcement has led to high undocumented immigration

Fact: The Border Patrol's budget has increased tenfold since 1986, but border crossings have continued despite the risks.
